The current issue (#478) of the Metropolis, the long-standing resident English town guide for the Tokyo area, has taken notice of the expat-in-Japan blogging craze / explosion / phenomenon / however you’d like to describe it. This site got a mention as “maybe the most detailed Tokyo blog,” (not really quite sure what that means), with an “extensive blogroll.”
So, without further ado, here are sites that have been added to said blogroll in the last week or so:
AMAI
Andrew and Kathleen
brightblack
Cooool! Japan
EFL in Japan
Gusalmighty.com: Bibas ergo Ain’t
Hindsight
Kris Corner
yongfook
Peter Zoon Zenlog

Congratulations on being featured in the Metropolis overview…well deserved. Tokyo Shoes, though, seems to have something against you….please see my latest entry.
Hmmm.
I don’t really want either Nadine or Kurt to have to respond to this, so as much as I’d rather not clog Kurt’s comments, I’ll say you’re completely misreading Nadine’s (previously private) email.
The reference to Kurt’s blog really is simply that he is attempting to link pretty much all the Japan blogs he runs across, thus trolling for linkage is better done with him than Nadine.
You’re wrong to read any negative connotation in either of Nadine’s email or blog entry.
