I haven’t felt like writing about my recent trip to Kanazawa and Matsumoto, mainly because I’ve been sick and feeling blah about things in general. I don’t feel capable of offering up any commentary that’s beyond the “it was nice” variety. So here are some photos instead. I thought I would group them loosely, so will start off with some signage that appealed to me from Kanazawa*.
* The second photo is actually from Wajima, a coastal town about 2 hours north of Kanazawa on the Noto Peninsula.
Wow. I love the top photo. Very eerie. Very evocative. It would make an excellent book cover. Now all we have to do is write a book to go with it.
