Spent Saturday trying to plow through the backlog of digital photos I took late last year but never uploaded to my moribund Japan: 100 Views and More photoblog. Managed to get 3 days worth uploaded (not great progress which probably doesn’t bode well for me getting it all done!). The above image is from October 7th, taken in Shibuya. (See the October 4th and 5th pages as well).

These are cool to look at, but I’d love to see some commentary from you about them also — what prompted you to take them, is the scenery typical or unusual, etc. A few words would be enough.

thanks for writing and for looking at the photos. you bring up one of the reasons I stopped the photo journal, quite a few folks were emailing me and saying like you did, hey, what about some captions, tell us more! and unfortunately, I just don’t have the time. I created that thing before I discovered movable type or gallery programs, and it’s all manual, and a pain. I only put up three days worth today (actually, yesterday now), and it took forever! By the time I’ve finished in Photoshop and Fireworks, and then start doing the pages in Dreamweaver, I’m pooped and I just want it over. It get’s very easy to just copy and paste “Ginza, Tokyo” a bunch of times :)…which is why I’ve sort of transitioned to the blog, and posting a few photos rather than a whole bunch, and trying to add comments when I feel it appropriate….
