Happy Birthday Naoko!

In honor of Naoko’s birthday, which was yesterday, here’s a photo of her that I like very much. It was taken in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park, in December of 1998. Details: I used a Lubitel twin-lens camera, and Fuji Astia 100 slide reversal film, which I then had cross-processed as negative, hence the strange colorization.

Happy Belated Birthday to Naoko! It’s indeed a nice photo. Hope she is doing fine, with the baby to come.

That is, I echo Ken Loo’s sentiments. When is your baby due? I was thinking over New Year’s that your child and my son are each born in the Year of the Ram. Thought I’d warn you, those rams don’t like to be prodded.

thanks for the well wishes (that’s from Naoko). Naoko is doing fine, as is the baby to come. yoteibi (expecting date) is March 31st.
