   I’ve stayed in Nezu a half-dozen times at least — at the Sawanoya Ryokan — so I recognize the pedestrian crossing and the (out-of-focus) building facade in the background.

   Time to call Qantas and redeem all those frequent flyer points…

3. yeah, shit thats a good photo. is that a fan in her hand? almost looks like you artfully blurred it in psd.

4. yes, that’s a fan in her hand, and no, I didn’t put the blur on it in PS….I actually didn’t even notice it until someone else noted it in a email to me.

5. The woman’s clothing has some wonderful contrast that really comes out with the longer shutter speed.
