More images from my trip last week to Kanazawa, this time focusing on snow. I wanted to see snow during my trip…next time I’ll be more careful for what I wish for, as it was seemingly never-ending. But truthfully, I loved it. For me it was a kid in the candy store feeling, and made my trip.
Kanazawa images — signage
I haven’t felt like writing about my recent trip to Kanazawa and Matsumoto, mainly because I’ve been sick and feeling blah about things in general. I don’t feel capable of offering up any commentary that’s beyond the “it was nice” variety. So here are some photos instead. I thought I would group them loosely, so will start off with some signage that appealed to me from Kanazawa*.
* The second photo is actually from Wajima, a coastal town about 2 hours north of Kanazawa on the Noto Peninsula.
Hitchhiking in Japan
Some nice photos of a hitchhiking trip across the northern part of Japan, from ejovi.net. I’m inspired to try this tact for my next trip. That is, after the trip I have planned the week after next, for which Shinkansen tickets have already been paid (through the nose) for.
