映画監督青春の地
(eigakantoku seishun no chi, loosely "The place of the filmmaker's youth")

Ozu commemorative stamp, published by Japan Post on October 23, 2003 (brief English here), to celebrate the centennial of Ozu's birth. Issued in 三重県 (Mie Prefecture)*, part of Japan Post's ふるさと切手 (furusato kitte, hometown stamps) series.

*Mie is where Ozu spent his teenage years.
