A 3-liter can of beer available from a vending machine (for 2,000 yen, and next to a 2-liter bottle for the same price). That's just great and ridiculous at the same time. Kanda-Jimbocho

What's ridiculous? It's perfectly ordinary for beer to be cheaper in cans than bottles. Bottles cost more and are harder to handle. Jumbo bottles sell well in the smaller USA liquour stores. (We don't have three litre cans, though, (except for the mini-kegs), and i guess we don't even have two litre bottles. But hey, let's have a party.)

It is great (large) though.

I sure do like the idea that one can go out at night in Japan and buy a can of beer from a vending machine. Too bad that would not work in USA.
